Our History

Lowland Rescue Oxfordshire became operational in 2008 as Isis Search and Rescue, later renamed Oxfordshire Lowland Search and Rescue then finally Lowland Rescue Oxfordshire. We where initially focused on foot search and expanded to incorporate water rescue, dog search and drone search.

In 2019 we where honored to receive The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.

By 2022 we had attended over 600 incidents equating to over 18,000 hours deployed on searches both in and out of our county.
